Our Intention
The house reflects these qualities. Light, sea, history and cultural openness shape both its atmosphere and design. Old and new coexist, and different influences are brought into dialogue.
The result is a calm and layered space that does not distract, but gently reduces and invites a deeper awareness. This is not a place of retreat as withdrawal, but a different form of presence. One that allows a clearer connection to oneself, to others and to the surrounding environment.
It is a space for small, conscious groups. For retreats, workshops and shared time where experience matters more than consumption. At its core are simplicity, connection to nature, community, cultural depth, quality and a slower pace of living.
A place for those who wish to travel differently. Not as visitors, but as part of a temporary community open to a shared experience. A space that, through its quietness, imposes nothing, yet allows much.
Casa Palacio Las Marías, in Cádiz, was shaped by a life lived between different European cultures, places and rhythms.
It is neither a traditional holiday home nor a purely functional venue. It is an attempt to create a space that allows for a different way of perceiving. Slower, more conscious and more immediate.
At the heart of this intention lies the city itself. Cádiz. One of the oldest cities in Europe, Cádiz has long been a place of movement and encounter. Surrounded by the Atlantic, it has always been a meeting point of cultures, languages and histories. This layered past is still present today.
The light here is clear and ever changing, making time visible rather than accelerating it. The sea is always close, present in sound, sight and atmosphere, offering a quiet sense of grounding. Together, these elements create a different rhythm of time. Less fragmented, more continuous, leaving space for attention and presence.
